上海市张江高科技园区Shanghai Zhangjiang Hi-Tech Park (Z-Park) 
上海市张江高科技园区成立于1992年7月，位于浦东新区中部，规划面积25平方公里，分为技术创新区、高科技产业区、科研教育区、生活区等功能小区。1999年8月，上海市委、市政府颁布了“聚焦张江”的战略决策，明确园区以集成电路、软件、生物医药为主导产业，集中体现创新创业的主体功能。自此，张江园区步入了快速发展阶段。
截止2010年底，园区进驻企业达1905家，累计完成固定资产投资额1239亿元。2010年，园区工业总产值577.5亿元；经营总收入1556亿元；固定资产投资131亿元；吸引投资总额超过150亿元，其中吸引合同外资9.5亿美元，吸引内资企业注册资本87.43亿元。园区共有从业人员17.34万人（其中博士4288人、硕士27082人、大专以上学历100756人）；园区累计专利申请数22215件，专利授权数5934件。
经过19年的开发，园区构筑了生物医药创新链和集成电路产业链的框架。目前，园区建有国家上海生物医药科技产业基地、国家信息产业基地、国家集成电路产业基地、 

国家半导体照明产业基地、国家863信息安全成果产业化（东部）基地、国家软件产业基地、国家软件出口基地、国家文化产业示范基地、国家网游动漫产业发展基地等多个国家级基地。在科技创新方面，园区拥有多模式、多类型的孵化器，建有国家火炬创业园、国家留学人员创业园，一批新经济企业实现了大踏步的飞跃。“自我设计、自主经营、自由竞争”和“鼓励成功、宽容失败”的园区文化和创业氛围正逐渐形成。 

上海张江（集团）有限公司（以下简称“张江集团”）成立于1992年7月28日，是一家全资国有企业。作为推动上海张江高科技园区发展的重要载体，张江集团在营造园区综合配套环境、提升园区自主创新能力、促进战略性新兴产业发展等方面不懈努力。 
截止2010年底，张江集团总资产规模规模421亿人民币，长期股权投资企业55家，其中包括于1996年在上海证券交易所上市的上海张江高科技园区开发股份有限公司（简称“张江高科”，股票代码：600895）。

Zhangjiang Hi-Tech Park was established on July 28, 1992 as China's state-level high-tech industrial development zone. After seventeen years of accumulation and development, Zhangjiang Hi-Tech Park, through providing high value-added products and services with innovative core technologies to progressively replace the life cycle of traditional industries, represents the revolutionary transformation trend of China’s economic development pattern.
Taking "Integration and Innovation" as the development axis, "resource integration control" and "service integration innovation" as the driving force, the park is presenting five kinds of development status including focalizing national strategies, integrating industry development, promoting R&D collaboration, innovating developing modes and leading the cutting edge technology..
After 14 years of development, the Park has established a framework for biomedicine industry and information industry chain and innovation chain. 

A number of national industry bases including Shanghai National Biomedical Industry Base, National Information Industry Base, National Integrated Circuit Industry Base, Semiconductor Lighting Industrial Base, National 863 Project China Eastern Information Security Industry Park (CEISIP), National Software Industry Base, National Software Export Base, National Culture Industry Example Base, and National Network Game and Animation Industry Base have been established at the Park so far.In respect of scientific innovation, the Park is equipped with incubators of various modes and types and has national incubators and national pioneering park for overseas Chinese students and scholars established here. A number of new economy based enterprises at the Park have made great progress. A park culture and innovation atmosphere of “self-design, self-operate and free competition” and “Encourage success and tolerate failure” is coming into being.
