德国医疗保健巨头费森尤斯公司（Fresenius）表示将以15亿欧元（约18.1亿美元）的价格收购德国私营连锁医院HeliosKliniken。此举使其成为德国最大的医院运营公司之一。
　 费森尤斯集团此次从Helios创始家族手中购得94％的股份，而剩余6％的股份则留给了Helios的管理层。Helios总共有24家连锁医院，约9300个床位。通过这一收购，费森尤斯将得以拉近其与德国实力雄厚的老对头RhoenKlinikumAG之间的距离，后者拥有11800张床位。而费森尤斯的雄心并没有停留在此，公司首席执行官UlfSchneider在接受《金融时报》（德国版）采访时表示，在Helios之后，公司还将进一步在医院业务领域进行收购。而RhoenKlinikum监事会成员EugenMuench则表示，不惧怕来自费森尤斯的挑战。Muench称，目前各家公司的市场份额都很小，还有90％的市场等待拓展。 
 

　 据悉，德国2000家由非营利的公共机构管理的医院中，大部分都不同程度地出现了财务困难，并且正在寻求买方，这就为诸如费森尤斯以及RhoenKlinikum这样的公司提供了机遇。
　 费森尤斯公司于2001年收购德国医院运营商WittgensteinerKliniken后，涉足医院业务。但是，费森尤斯在这一领域并未像公司在其他领域那样大举获得成功。费森尤斯去年总收入为62.3亿美元，而来自医院部门的收入则约为9.8亿美元。
　 为了对这一交易进行融资，费森尤斯将在2006年中期之前发行7亿欧元左右的债券。而瑞士信贷第一波士顿和摩根士丹利则已为该公司提供了7亿欧元的过渡性融资。费森尤斯由于刚在今年5月份斥资35亿美元收购了美国肾病透析服务公司RenalCareGroupInc，公司资产负债表负担有所增加。

HELIOS Hospital Group
The HELIOS Hospital Group ranks among the largest and most medically advanced hospital groups in Germany. After its acquisition by the Fresenius Group in December 2005, HELIOS Hospital Corporation formed part of the Fresenius ProServe company. As from January 1, 2008 HELIOS figures as an independant business segment within the Fresenius Group.
