The company was formed in 2000 from the fusion of Dr. Bruno Lange GmbH with its headquarters in Berlin, Germany and HACH Inc with its headquarters in Denver, USA. Today the company employees over 2,500 people. Both companies have a very long and similar history in the area of photometry and electrochemistry. The vision of both companies was influenced by analytic innovation and a logical optimization of analysis in application areas. The most recent subsidiaries were are Greece founded in January, 2007 and Croatia in April, 2008.
